Black-bellied Whistling Ducks are fairly common on shallow ponds and marshy areas in southeast Arizona.  Look for them in flooded grassy fields close to the Gila, Santa Cruz, and San Pedro Rivers.  Kino Ponds near Nogales and El Mirage Pond in Phoenix are also good spots.
