Say's Phoebes are
less common than their Black Phoebe cousins, but are still quite
common winter residents. Unlike the Black Phoebes, Say's don't
associate with water, but are instead found in and around drier
agricultural areas. During the breeding season they are here
in far less numbers--try Cibola NWR. During the winter they
can be found daily--try the grassy ag fields south of the Salton Sea
or Yuma.
