Snow Geese are abundant at the Sonny Bono Salton Sea NWR in the winter.  The blue form is much less common, but can usually be found sometime during the season.  Ross Geese are smaller, with a comparably smaller bill that doesn't have the black "grin" patch between the upper and lower mandibles.
