Yellow Warblers
first show up in our area in the mid-late spring (usually by late April),
with small numbers remaining in riparian areas along the Colorado
& Gila Rivers throughout the breeding season. In late
spring they are one of the most common migrants. Look
for them in riparian growth and yards, especially blooming Palo
Verde trees in migration. In summer, look for them at the Gila
River Grove.
Photos
taken with Canon D10, 70-200mm lens, and 1.5 doubler.
