Western
Pondhawk can be found mostly near larger bodies of water in
Imperial County.
New River Wetlands is a great place to study them in comparison
with Blue Dashers!
They sometimes sit on floating vegetation which Blue Dasher rarely
does. Their face is
green and the males eyes are a deeper blue than Blue Dashers who
have a white face.
